HBO - On Site Calligraphy Lettering Activation - The Righteous Gemstones Premiere
I love partnering with companies to create a memorable experience for VIP guests! I also love a great party - well designed and well executed—and that’s exactly what the premiere party for HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones was. A beautiful, branded experience with everything from show-stopping atmosphere to personalized gifts, hand lettered on the spot for around 400 guests that night. Directors, producers, actors, and crew members came up to our table to get their custom luggage tags done before the night was over. It was a blast putting together my A-team of calligraphers and sitting side-by-side to letter for such a special occasion. The client asked if we could reference the lettering seen on the airplanes in the show as a tie-in, and use the royal purple and marigold colors from the show, and voila - we did just that. Everyone got to walk away with a custom piece they wanted to keep and use on their travel bags for a long time to come!
