Dive Palm Springs Hotel - Outdoor Mural

Designed and painted for a chic retro French-riviera inspired setting

Location: Palm Springs, CA

This three-piece mural was such a delight to design for Dive Palm Springs. The client wanted something that would embody the vibe of the hotel (French riviera, sophisticated, whimsical). When I suggested the phrase “Avec toi, la vie est belle” it made perfect sense for the space (translates: with you, life is beautiful). We wanted the phrase to extend across the entire orchard, but for each piece to have the ability to stand independently. “La vie” & “est belle” are nestled behind their respective water and lighting features, adding some extra punch to the ambience.

Painted on rough stucco, this was a great challenge to bring fluid, smooth script on these walls to inspire visitors!
