A Nationwide Live Calligraphy Activation - GUESS Inc
This was a big feat - but I’m always up for a challenge! In December, GUESS Inc asked me to put together a team of twelve calligraphers (piece of cake) - in twelve different cities across the U.S. and Canada for their big holiday in-store activation. I was honored to be tasked with it, and ended up putting together the most amazing dream team of calligraphers across the nation to bring a personalized holiday experience for customers at GUESS.
On site, our calligraphers hand lettered huge red GUESS ornaments for customers, while the DJ played and the shopping ensued. Customers got to walk away with a unique and memorable experience that was personalized just for them that day. You should see how people light up when they see their name getting written out in front of them by a professional calligrapher - they go bananas, and they want to keep it forever! Connecting with customers face to face is one part of our job that makes our work so meaningful.
Calligraphers were stationed in Beverly Hills CA, Las Vegas NV, McAllen TX, Miami Beach FL, McLean VA, Paramus NJ, New York NY, Scarborough ON, Burnaby BC, Quebec City QC, and North York ON.
