Fundraiser - Calligraphers of Color x Angelique Ink Tote Bags!
A special edition screen printed jumbo gusseted tote bag is a brand new fundraiser collaboration between Calligraphers of Color and Angelique, Ink!
Over the past few weeks, Amanda over at Calligraphers of Color and I have been cooking up this design and we’re IN LOVE with how it came out!
The bag shape is a little more unique (and sturdy) than your standard tote, which makes it a great statement piece and choice for packing up your supplies for on-site events!
We designed these totes for the calligraphy, lettering and writing community, and the cool part is: 100% of proceeds will benefit @NAACP Legal Defense Fund as well as @calligraphersofcolor administrative costs for its growing community of calligraphers and enthusiasts!

When I landed on this particular quote, it hit home as I thought about the idea of a pen, something we hold in our hands every day for beauty, creativity and enjoyment, as being one of the most basic & essential tools for change. The literal and proverbial pen has always been a catalyst for creating change in the world - from writers of great speeches to signing of bills and writing new laws, to recording history, and creating art that moves the thought needle and survives centuries... there's so much power in the pen. We designed this tote to carry as a reminder to use our talents and skills for good and for change. We chose the NAACP Legal Defense Fund because we believe in supporting it's goals to upend racist systems through criminal justice reform, economic and educational equity, and political participation. Whether you’re a calligrapher, a writer, a reader, or a lover of letters, we hope you enjoy using it as much as we did making it!
